What is Social Bookmarking?

Social bookmarking is the process of marking a website page with a browser based tool so that you can easily visit it again. Users follow content that interests them and curate them in their digital library. Valuable content is added to social media marketing companies, where topics are organized into specific threads and are easy to search.

Some advantages of social bookmarking include accessibility and ease/speed of access. When you use social bookmarking, the resources are stored on the Cloud, meaning that they can be accessed by multiple people and can also be accessed quickly, so you do not have to spend time searching for links. It also allows users to curate a digital library of materials from anywhere!
